What we’re about
Utah Mountain Biking! We're a group of mountain bikers of all levels based out of the greater Salt Lake City and Wasatch Back areas. We usually have a few evening and night rides each week along with weekend rides. We also have camping trips to places like Moab and Teton Valley. After our rides we usually go out to a restaurant or hangout at the trailhead with drinks and snacks.

Quarry Trail Ride – Little Cottonwood Canyon
We’ll be riding the Quarry Trail loop starting from the LCC Park & Ride lot. The route starts with a gradual climb up a paved canyon road before hopping onto the Quarry Trail, a mellow, scenic singletrack that winds along the canyon wall with great views and a mix of smooth dirt and light rock. After the climb, we’ll loop back down the same trail—with some optional side trail detours for those who want a bit more spice. These side lines offer more tech and flow but are totally optional. We’ll regroup at all key intersections.
This ride is great for riders with intermediate fitness. The trail is mostly non-technical and beginner-friendly, with only a few short rocky or loose sections. The optional side trails are more technical but manageable for those with confident bike handling skills. This is an E-bike friendly ride.
Meet at the LCC Park & Ride lot at 7:00 PM. Rolling at 7:05.

What to Bring:
- Good attitude and some uphill grind
- Night riding lights (mandatory!)
- Helmet and a tuned-up bike
- Gloves and a light jacket (temps can drop quickly)
- Water and a small snack
- Optional: pads for the descents or side trails
We’ll keep it casual, stop to regroup as needed, and enjoy the ride at a chill but steady pace.
Post-ride hangout: Bring a chair and a drink if you want to hang out after. I’ll be in a charcoal Tesla.
