Salty Dog October 2024 Monthly Meeting

Now that we’re losing our sunny hours and gaining chilly temps, our meetings move back to Original Brooklyn’s second-floor space (where we meet when we’re unable to sail). Our longtime member Mike Cranna has agreed to describe some of his sailing experiences for us on Thursday, October 10! Mike will tell us stories of his offshore adventures in the 2023 North American Rally to the Caribbean. Arrive at 6 pm to grab a seat and order dinner before the meeting begins at 6:30.
Note that this is The Original Brooklyn’s on Colfax (Old West Colfax and Morrison Rd.) but not Brooklyn’s at Ball Arena on Auraria Pkwy:

Parking details:

• Park in lot T in the back, S across the street, or V.
• On digital map apps (like Google Maps), the best parking lot (due to current construction) can be found under the address 1400 Decatur St, Denver, CO 80219.
• Remember your license plate number!
• Walk across Morrison Road behind a brick building to Original Brooklyn’s, which is stone and brick.
• Go inside, use your phone to scan the QR code, and enter your plate number to validate the free parking to avoid a parking ticket.
• If you don’t have a smartphone that can scan, ask the greeter inside the restaurant for help.
