​Ecstatic Dance is an international practice of free-form movement defined by several key principles that distinguish it from traditional or social dance:
- Free movement: There are no choreographies; participants are encouraged to move however they feel.
- Sacred space: The dance floor is considered a sacred space, free from judgment, alcohol, drugs, and distractions (for example, no phones or conversations).
- Musical journey: DJs create a musical “wave” that guides dancers through varying energies and emotions — from grounding rhythms to uplifting peaks.

Ecstatic Dance offers a place where people reconnect with the spirit of their bodies — where movement heals, music guides, and the dancing tribe holds the experience.

About the Samanà Space: It’s a privilege to facilitate this ecstatic journey in this spacious and bright open room of 110m², filled with natural light throughout the day, good ventilation, and cozy rest areas. Located near Poblenou and Calle Marina, with the nearest metro being Bogatell (L4), the venue features an open space, a small kitchen area, a bathroom, and two chill-out zones with sofas.
