Los Angeles Heights Presbyterian Church Food Distribution - Need Volunteers!

This Food Distribution is to help the community of and around the Los Angeles Heights Presbyterian Church. They need volunteers!

This is a Saturday Event!

The Food Bank truck is scheduled to arrive around 7:00 am if you can be there between 6:30 and 7:00 to help setup the tents, tables, signs, etc. that would be great but please be there by 7:00. The plan is to feed 200 families starting around 8:30 - 9:00 ending at 11:00 or until the food runs out. If you can only help for an hour or 2 - we'll need the most help from 7 - 9:00. Below is a breakdown of how we hope the morning will go BUT please be flexible, expect changes! :)

Start 6:30 am
Set up tents, tables, chairs and help where needed.
Truck should arrive - driver will unload the truck: 7:00 - 7:15
Divide Food into 200 Bags: 7 - 8:30
Load food into cars as they drive by: 8:30 - 10:30
End of day: 10:30 - 11:00
Take down tents, tables, chairs, dispose of all trash.
