WELLNESS PROMOTION 2026 Sponsored by Windcrest United Methodist Church

The Windcrest United Methodist Church is hosting a big WELLNESS PROMOTION 2026 community event at 8101 Midcrown Dr - hours of the event are 10-2. Should be several hundred people in attendance!
They will have free food, food trucks will be selling food and drinks along side of numerous vendors! They will also be providing many FREE health services -
Vision Exams
Hearing Exams
Pediatric Exams
Well Women Exams
Financial Literacy
Mammograms
Dental Services
Heart and Kidney Services
Self-Care Services
Library Services
Fitness Classes
Food, Fun, and More!

Lots of VOLUNTEERS are needed to ensure this event is a success! They have asked all volunteers to register (quick and easy) by using the QR code from the flyer or register at Wellnesscentersa.com REGISTER TODAY. Visit their website for more information.

Volunteers (us) will bag & distribute the food from the Food Bank, 100 -150 families. Come help their cause and truly make a difference in this community.

Volunteers assist by:

• Packing groceries for distribution
• Transporting groceries to vehicles
• Interacting with those waiting in line for food

Parking:
Please park in the small strip mall parking lot - next to the church - off Walzam Rd. There’s a WSS shoe store.

You must be at least 12 years old to volunteer for this event. EVERYONE must pre-register!
When you arrive, sign-in at registration desk, introduce yourselves to each other and wait for the person-in-charge to brief everyone. She will explain the process for the day and what/where your help is needed the most!

Wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, hat/cap and a pair of light gloves (plastic gloves work OK). Lunch, water & light snacks will be provided. We’ll work in 2hr intervals (so we can enjoy the festivities). We will be working outside, allot of standing & bending over - no heavy lifting.
