Lost Maples Fall Foliage Extravaganza

Come join us for an excursion to Lost Maples State Natural Area to witness the fall foliage in all its glory. Lost Maples is renowned for its spectacular display of fall colors; what better way to see it than up close and personal with a primitive (backpacking) camping trip?
We've secured 2 camping permits, which will allow for 10 other campers to join us on this trip. Since this is a backpacking trip, you will be responsible for your own meals, but we will plan a Saturday hike that will end up at the parking lot around lunchtime. We will prepare and enjoy a hot lunch (TBD). Then restock our supplies for our last night before heading back into the wilderness.

The fee for this trip is $12, payable to Chad via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal (@chadwestes or 210-870-4133) or Scott via Venmo (@FlexYourBro or 210-584-8096)

You are responsible for packing in and packing out your shelter, what you eat, what you drink, and any trash you generate in doing so.
If you've never gone backpacking before but are interested, please reach out to either Scott or Chad; we can provide you with a better understanding of what will be needed and what to expect.
As always, your RSVP only shows your interest and gets you on the waitlist, once you've paid your fees, you'll be moved to the going list.

Please be aware that you are participating in this event at your own risk. We cannot take responsibility for your safety or provide medical assistance. Also, please note that no dogs or individuals under 21 years of age are allowed. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations past November 22nd, but you may sell your spot to someone else on the waitlist if there is demand. Please coordinate that with Chad or Scott.

Please be respectful of everyone and cancel as soon as you know you will be unable to attend. Getting geared up at the last minute is not particularly easy, and you may prevent someone else from going if you sit on the fact that you won't be able to attend.
