4th Annual Barbeque Crawl

This trip will be a drive-up site camping trip to Lockhart State Park in Lockhart, Texas. Lockhart is known as the Barbeque Capital of Texas. The park is a small, quaint park built in the 1930s and boasts the only 9-hole golf course in the Texas state parks system. There are some nice hiking trails that we can take advantage of, as well as some decent fishing in the Clear Fork Creek. Last time we were here, we had a rousing game of croquet. There's a lot of room for outside activities; if you have a fun game you'd like to share, bring it.
We've reserved sites 13, 14, and 16 with 15 being left vacant and unable to be reserved, so we should have a lot of room. These are electric sites, so bring your heated blankets if you don't have anyone to cuddle with on Valentine's Day.
This trip will allow up to 20 people to camp for 2 nights.
We'll provide breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, but the main event will be heading into town for some world-class barbeque on Friday and Saturday nights for dinner, and concluding our trip on Sunday afternoon at a final barbeque establishment for lunch.
The fee for this event will be $20. You can pay your fee to Chad via Venmo, PayPal (@2108704133 or @chadwestes), or in person if you see him out and about.

There may be additional charges for parking paid to the park service. Carpooling is highly encouraged.
