About us
Welcome to the San Diego Adults with ADHD Meetup!
Whether you were recently diagnosed or have been living with ADHD for years, this group is a supportive and welcoming space to connect, share experiences, and learn from others who truly understand the journey.
After receiving my own late-in-life ADHD diagnosis, I created this community because, for the first time, I felt a sense of belonging among people who think and experience life in similar ways. I wanted a space where we could learn from one another, support each other, and make navigating everyday life a little easier.
Our meetups include open conversations, social gatherings, and supportive discussions designed to help you thrive with ADHD — not just manage it.
Join us to build meaningful connections, exchange helpful strategies, and become part of a community that encourages authenticity, growth, and living your best life.
Featured event

Mission Bay Bonfire
Let's see how many awesome people we can get together to have a great time and not rely on a restaurant reservation and spend time chatting in a quieter environment.
This event will be casual, adults only, and open for you to bring your significant other or a close friend that you know well. The people outside of this group could be your personal friends that are wondering if they have ADHD/ADD or have been in a relationships with an ADHD/ADD person. Please make sure you know them well and you know they will be a good fit for the group. I always make sure everyone at the events feels safe and supported.
PLEASE BRING: Your Own Chair/Blanket, Your Own Food and Drinks.
Bring a chair, food you would like to eat for yourself, and maybe a blanket if it gets colder. The sun will go down at 7pm so it will be warm until then. I will bring the firewood, some chips and salsa to share. You could bring a hotdog to cook for yourself on the fire and/or marshmallows. Please feel free to bring some small items if you would like to share some snacks and sweets with others.
If this is your first time attending, please push through your nervousness because you will feel right at home. We all had anxiety coming to these events, but then we realize we are all alike. We all forget each other's names, talk a lot for the ADHD peeps, stay shy and quieter for the ADD peeps, support each other about the tough days we have when we forget things, get overwhelmed and have no clue what medication will finally give us a good day.
Siesel's Meats, that's close by, has great Bratwursts and prepared meat to put on skewers or small to go side items. Here is their link: Siesel's Meats
Looking forward to seeing you at our casual get together by the fire on the beach.
