What we’re about
This is a group for anyone who is interested in exploring the city of San Diego, CA while walking. Our easy to moderate walks will explore local art, gardens, architecture and historic points of interest to bring researched tidbits of information to life and may also include a picnic or a happy hour stop.
I am not an expert, but, as a long time resident of San Diego, I am looking to learn more by reading & researching, trading stories and meandering together. Our fun walking tours will center around Downtown, Little Italy, Balboa Park, beaches, and other neighborhoods with the goal of learning and observing more about this place we call home. I will also try to include interesting community events that allow us to explore and delve deeper into San Diego, which is home to many architectural and historical finds. Let's explore them!
Note: It is strongly preferred that you include a real photo showing your face to join this group so we can recognize each other. Also, I will purposely keep this group small and active with a max of 50 members at any one time. Please check in with the organizer with ideas and/or actively attend! You will be removed after about 6 months of inactivity.
