Calling all electric vehicles (EV) enthusiasts! All are welcome (no need to own an EV). Getting together monthly for interesting speakers and to share all the latest on EVs--whether production models or gas-electric conversion. EV owners soon learn the basics about the three levels of charging - level one wall outlets, level two garage/destination chargers, and the level three fast chargers found out on the road. The first two work fine when you're not in any hurry and can be done at home. Fast chargers are another story.
Our May presentation will be by SOCAL EV who has over ten years experience installing public charging projects. Learn what goes on behind the scenes to plan and install a fast charger. Why can't we have more located near apartment buildings and condos? How can a business turn parking spaces into passive revenue generators?
