June 2023 Monthly Meeting

For June we will revisit the important topic of understanding and optimizing your utility bill. As of June 1st, the peak rate is over 80¢ per kWh. How do you choose the best rate for your circumstances and how can you shift your usage to minimize your costs? Factors include rate plans, solar, batteries, schedules and now new rules for NEM 3.0i installations. Our own newsletter editor, Dave Crow will help provide some answers.

But wait, there's more! It's never a favorite chore, but someone must take away the trash. Republic Services will soon be rolling out four electric garbage trucks. Stephen Herring from Republic will tell how this came about and the challenges that have to be overcome.
