February 2024 - Communities in Charge

Details

Charging while your car is not used is the backbone of EV convenience. It makes owning an EV a no-brainer for anyone with a home garage. However, it's not so easy for those living in apartments or condominiums.

Communities in Charge is a program being administered in San Diego by Grid Alternatives to implement Level 2 charging where communities live and gather. Level 2 charging usually provides about 30 miles of range for each hour connected. It is ideal for overnight and workday charging.

Norah Kyassa of Grid Alternatives will join us for our February meeting and explain how workplaces and landlords can apply for assistance. The program features per connector benefits such as $3,500 of eligible costs and even an additional $3,500 for multi-family housing and tribal entities. Join us to hear all the details and get your questions answered.

Join us in person at the San Diego Automotive Museum. Be sure to RSVP so we can plan for pizza.

Or register to join in via Zoom
