 - *** - ### Speakers - #### Stephen of R60537 - San Diego Section - Dr. Stubberud is the ALRE AAG Senior Software Manager at General Atomics - Electromagnetics Systems. He has worked in industry for over thirty years. His passion has been in controls and estimation theory. He has over 150 publications in open literature. One of his areas of interest is history. In this presentation, Dr. Stubberud will look at the oft-overlooked history of the foundations of control technologies. - Biography: 
 Dr. Stubberud graduated with his doctorate in 1992 from the University of California Santa Barbara. He then began his work in industry at ORINCON Corporation in neural-adaptive control and sensor data fusion. After the purchase of ORINCON by Lockheed Martin, he then worked for the Boeing Company in Anaheim on the development a fiber-optic navigator for the USN SSBN. He then went to work for ANZUS corporation in Poway on optical tracking data correlation. This was followed by working for Raytheon in El Segundo in the area of AESA radar and jamming system. He then returned to Boeing with the resumption of the FOGN effort.- Email: scstubberud@ieee.org
