It’s time for a different kind of SDF meet, one that will celebrate this special furry holiday of sorts with a unique event! The number 621 holds significance to many of us for one reason or another, some of them more… questionable than others. Now is the time to let those unhinged thoughts break free in our first Smash or Pass event!

Join us this Saturday for a night full of laughs as we judge our eligible candidates with one another. Candidates will span across assorted furry and furry-adjacent media, but will also include some surprise guest appearances from places you wouldn’t think of. Expect the unexpected here! Characters will be presented in a PowerPoint format with pros and cons listed, then the audience (that’s you guys!) will debate as a group if the character in question is worthy of our monosodium glutamate inclined tastes. All imagery will be SFW, so no worry about souring your taste buds. Throughout the event we may have two attendees come up to the front of our makeshift stage and debate against each other as they defend their assigned characters from our list of contestants, so be prepared with those improv skills! There are no wrong responses here; we eagerly await whatever creative arguments you have.

The event will be standard meet after-party style, so drinks will be available and we’ll be nabbing some Costco pizzas. While not necessarily a potluck, feel free to bring any snacks or food along with you! Don’t want to debate such spicy topics on an empty stomach!
