Tuesday Evening Hike- Annie’s Canyon Trail

Hi Guys! Our next hike will be Annie’s Canyon which is always a great hike! This hike has a Slot Canyon where sand stone has been eroded to form natural paths along the coast! Annie’s Canyon also has trails with amazing views of the ocean and sunsets. We will also explore tge area East of the 5 freeway to a lookout point then if there is time check out the view homes in that neighborhood. After, optional food and drinks at Solana Beach Fish House.

Note this trail is along the Elijo Lagoon so bring some mosquito repellant. The hike is fairly easy but bring shoes with good treads.

TIMING:

We will meet and greet at 5:45 pm

We start promptly at 6:00pm (plan your trip, arrive on time)

Hiking Distance: ~4.8 miles

Difficulty: Easy

Parking: Directions take you to a cul de sac

WHAT TO BRING:

Water ( I take 2 liters; I sweat a lot & I prepare for the worst)

Snack (an apple, an orange, electrolyte replenisher)

Sturdy Hiking Shoes (ensure the soles have tread)

Sunblock

Bug spray

Flashlight
