Tues Hike - Black Mtn from Hilltop Community Park

Hey Guys! The sun is setting later so bring your flashlights or headlamps to the hike at Black Mountain. Meet in HillTop Community Park in front of the brick building where the bathrooms are located. The route will be announced on the day of the hike. After, we can head to Knotty Barrel for a bite and drink.

MEETUP LOCATION:
Hilltop Community Park (Penesquitos Area)
9711 Oviedo Way, Sand Diego, CA, 92129

TIMING:
We will meet and greet at 5:45 pm
We start promptly at 6:00 pm (plan your trip, arrive on time)

HIKE DETAILS:
Hiking Distance: ~4-6 miles
Elevation gain: ~1200'
Difficulty: Intermediate (Beginners are welcome)
Parking: Park on Oviedo Street or in Parking lot, if open

WHAT TO BRING:
Water ( I take 3 liters; I sweat a lot & I prepare for the worst)
Face Mask (handkerchief, Hiking face mask)
Backpack or water carrying fanny pack
Snack (an apple, an orange, electrolyte replenisher)
Sturdy Hiking Shoes (ensure the soles have tread)
Flashlight or Headlamp
