Welcome to the San Diego Photography Collective.
We are amateurs up thru professional photographers using film and digital cameras, who enjoy getting together to discuss photography, cameras, photo related topics, goings-on in the photography world & sharing our techniques and expertise, along with exploring and capturing our world with our cameras, as a group and individually.

Digital Photo Academy: Master Your Camera Controls
Location: Liberty StationCome out before the Composition in the Field class and take the time to explore your camera’s different exposure modes taught by Martin Miller. This is an opportunity to take your camera off of the automatic mode and examine some of the other powerful options your camera beholds.
Only five people maximum in this class due to the sophistication of the cameras.

Digital Photo Academy: Composition in the Field
a Workshop at Liberty Station in San DiegoWelcome to Liberty Station, which was once a major Naval Training Center in San Diego. It was established by Congress in 1919 and commissioned in 1923. During World War II Liberty Station trained as many as 25,000 recruits. Liberty Station at one point covered over 500 acres of land together with the training buildings at the 32nd Street Naval Station.
In 1997 the military’s use of Liberty Station ended and thoughts of redevelopment opportunities by the city for housing, parks, recreation,
business and the conservation of the historic location began.Dust off your camera and walk through the wonders of the historic
Liberty Station grounds as we explore and discuss various photographic compositions, theories and create some exciting images.Choose an option:
