About us

San Diego Pick-Up Lines is a weekly cleanup walk for active singles (30–50) who would rather meet people outdoors than stand around at a bar.

Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM we meet at Mission Bay for one hour. Gloves on. Bags out. We walk, pick up litter, and talk. The work gives the conversation somewhere to go. You leave having done something useful, whether you meet a match that night or not.

Who this is for
Fit, thoughtful people who want a partner with the same habits: time outside, a body they take care of, and a willingness to show up for the city. Come solo or bring a friend.

What an hour looks like
We gather as a group, do a short overview, and head out together on the path. The host stays with the group. We finish back at the start. After that, people chat, peel off, or continue nearby if they want to. No scripted games. No clock-in dating format.

Why it works

  • One hour. Free. Drop-in any week.
  • Movement, outdoors, and a visible result in the same window.
  • Weekly, so faces become familiar instead of a one-night stack of names.
  • Productive + Social = Quality Connections.

Even if you don’t find your match, the time wasn’t wasted.

Show up. Pick up. Connect.
Bring gloves, a reusable bag if you have one (extras on site), and shoes you can wear on grass and sand.
