March 2023 Meeting - Using and Creating Mogrts

For our March meeting, we are continuing on with our deep dive into graphics creation in Premiere Pro and expanding out into After Effects as well. Last month, we all got a great overview of the power of the Essential Graphics Panel in Premiere Pro. This month, we take it one step further and move into the world of Mogrts. If you don’t know what one is, or have very little experience with them, this is definitely the meeting for you. If you do have lots of experience with them, this meeting is also for you as we’ll go over ways to use them as well as create them.

Many professionals think "templates" is a dirty word, but they are SO missing out! Whether they're created in Premiere Pro or in After Effects, Motion Graphics Templates (aka "Mogrts") can super-charge your editing workflow, speed up tedious versioning, or even be used live! Even if you're not into templates, these same techniques can be used to revolutionize the way you've been using After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Joining us this month to teach us all this will be Kyle Hamrick. He’s an Emmy-winning creative & technical director, motion designer, video editor, Adobe-certified software trainer based in Kansas City. He's an all-around Premiere & After Effects nerd how loves an efficient workflow.
