November 2024 - Premiere Pro 2025 & Media Cache

We are back! I know it’s been a while since our last meeting, and sorry about that. Hoping to get back on a regular schedule next year. This year has had some challenges.

For our meeting this time, we are going to focus on the latest release of Premiere Pro (2025), and talk about many of the new features included in it. The new properties panel, the new UI, the updated Effects Control Panel, new project creation window, and look at some of the upcoming features such as Generative Extend for adding a couple more seconds to your shots. We’ll also talk about media cache – what you need to know about these files, why they are so important, how they work while you edit, and best practices how to handle them.
