ASL Social at Mission Dolores Park every Third Sunday

Hi everyone, given recent feedback about how a weekly meetup is too much, we're scaling it down to something more predictable. We'll be meeting every third Sunday of the month. This will be something you can set on your schedule!

We would love to get your feedback about whether we should have a meetup twice a month instead of once a month. Maybe 1st Saturday of the month and 3rd Sunday of the month? Please reply or add to the discussion!

Join us, make new friends, meet them again, and help create a signing space, as Shea called it, with us! Let's bask in the verdant Kentucky bluegrass!

We will meet at one of the picnic tables, which is always near 20th St and Dolores St.

Beginners and families are always welcome to this event, even if you are only a few months into learning ASL.

The goal of The San Francisco ASL Group is to provide a space for people to get together and socialize. This event welcomes ASL students, wherever they learned in class, from friends, or online.

We sometimes alternate between Saturday and Sunday every month to give people opportunities to attend when they otherwise might be busy.

P.S. We're interested in having more Deaf events and ASL socials, but it depends on you! Expectations: You're Deaf and/or heavily involved in the Deaf community; you enjoy volunteering; you're comfortable networking and communicating via ASL.
