Welcome to Pawns & Pints- the SF Chess Happy Hour.

PP is an amalgamation of intellectual battles and refreshing libations, every other Wednesday, from 6pm to 9pm. Well rendezvous at the Detour, a beloved arcade bar on Market St.

This event is BYOB (Bring Your Own Board). We will have a few chess sets, but hope you will bring yours so we can increase the # of players at one time.

Prepare to unleash your strategic prowess as you engage in captivating chess duels over a board, all while indulging in the Detour's legendary selection of bevs.

Please kindly note that this gathering is exclusively for the seasoned 21+ tacticians, as we explore the intricate dance between chess and hops.
