Sunday in the Park with Gorgeous Spring Flowers and Bison

Now that it has finally sprung, lets see how spring is doing after its first two weeks.

So get out your parasols because there are wildflowers, tulips, bison, redwoods, ducks, geese and a windmill to be checked out.

We'll probably have a snack/water break but not a full blown lunch break.

We'll meet in front of McLaren Lodge on the very east end of the park (near Stanyan) and walk the full length to the Queen Wilhelmina windmill and tulip garden.

The #5 bus is right there near the windmill to take you back to the starting and other points. If you have to drive, there should be spots near the start and end.

The Beach Chalet is also nearby the end in case anyone is hungry or thirsty afterwards.

This walk is completely horizontal. If you want some real cardio you're going to have to get it either before or after, sorry. This is literally a walk in the park.

Well behaved dogs will have a great time (as will any well behaved humans). Parts of the walk are leash required.

Rain showers will require a postponement until the end of April.
