The inaugural SF Cloud Native Security Meetup is happening at the end of May! 🍕🤩
Join us for a fun evening of networking with security and engineering folks, pizza, and drinks on us of course. We’ll be hosted by the lovely squad at Root Ventures in the Mission District.
We’ll be joined by our guest speaker, Balachandra Shanabhag who is a Staff Security Engineer at Cohesity.
Bala's talk:
Bala’s talk will be on Modern Appsec vs CodeGenAI threats, which will focus on how xz-style supply chain attacks are possible in code gen bots, and how current appsec practices handle it whether that needs to change.
About Bala:
Bala has over 15 years of experience in various domains of cybersecurity. He joined Cohesity as a Founding Product Security Engineer and helped bootstrap appsec and other security initiatives. Before Cohesity, Bala was at Juniper Networks for 10+ years, helping securely build critical networking gears.
