Cohousing is is a community development model created with the design input of the residents, according to common goals such as sustainability, community, and living well by sharing more. It includes individual home ownership supplemented by shared ownership of additional facilities and common areas.

The Thriving Future for the Bay Area Unconference is a one-day gathering designed to explore bioregional regeneration, resilience, and restoration in the San Francisco Bay Delta Bioregion. This community-driven event invites doers and dreamers from all walks of life to co-create the agenda, share ideas, and take meaningful action on topics such as:

Get to know four Northern California cohousing neighborhoods in Sacramento and the Sierras:
- Fair Oaks EcoHousing (Northeast Sacramento suburbs)
- Nevada City Cohousing (Sierra Foothills)
- Washington Commons (West Sacramento)
- Wolf Creek Lodge (Sierra Foothills, Senior Cohousing) (host of this call)
Members of the four communities will discuss the common features among them. They will then identify what makes their communities unique. Participants are encouraged to join the conversation.
