What we’re about
I started this group because I saw too many singles in San Francisco stuck in the same cycle of endless dating apps and surface level connections. It felt like everyone was looking for something real but had no place to actually meet people in a meaningful way. I wanted to create something different a space where genuine connections could grow naturally through shared experiences instead of swipes. Floor 13 isn't just a name it's a vibe a little playful, a little mysterious, and totally focused on helping locals find love that lasts.
Most of our members are professionals in their 30s and 40s who've lived in the Bay Area for a few years and are done with casual dating. They're the kind of people who value honesty, good conversation, and real chemistry. You'll find engineers, creatives, healthcare workers, and entrepreneurs people with busy lives who still believe in love and are ready to put themselves out there in a more authentic way.
We host events every two to three weeks so there's always something fun on the calendar. Think wine tastings, hiking adventures, game nights, themed dinners, and weekend mini trips all designed to spark connection without the awkwardness.
