Environmental Friendly hiking group, using public transportation and carpooling to hiking trails throughout Marin and San Francisco counties. I have been a co-organizer through the meetup Bay area short hikes 5-8 miles for 2.5 years. I will be leading hikes with more miles and less speed. I want my hikers to enjoy their hikes, get a good workout, takes some photos and experience the beauty around them. So bring your smiles and let's hike some miles. See you on the next hike \
Drivers, we will meet you at the trail head, \
We will meet in the City and take bus or ferry to various trail heads in Marin Headlands, Mt Tam, and Pt Reyes Seashore. From there we start our hike.

We will be doing a moderately strenuous urban hike in San Francisco that begins at Dolores Park in the Mission and ends at Spark Social in Mission Bay. This hike is for INTERMEDIATE HIKERS only. The 7.3 mile trek will involve ascending 1,200 feet as we wind through the Mission, Bernal Heights, Potrero Hill and Mission Bay, where anyone who wishes can gather at Spark Social for food and drinks.
THIS EVENT HAS A WAITLIST. DO NOT SHOW UP FOR IT UNLESS YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAYING YOU CAN ATTEND. NO CRASHERS AND NO PLUS ONES ARE PERMITTED.
We meet at 10:00 am at Dolores Park. and depart promptly at 10:15 am. We start by heading up Dolores Heights (400') to Billy Goat Hill, and then turn south to ascend Bernal Heights (433'). There will be some steps and steep paths to reach the top of Bernal Heights Park where we will enjoy great views of the Mission and Noe Valley while we break for snacks. Next we head down into the Mission on the way over to Potrero Hill. We will traverse more steps and steep roads heading up and then down Potrero Hill, passing by community gardens and scenic views along the way. Finally, we head into Mission Bay to arrive at our destination, Spark Social.
Spark Social is an outdoor food truck park, beer & sangria garden located in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood. Spark Social Website: http://sparksocialsf.com

The meeting spot is outside the restroom in Dolores Park, near the park entrance at 18th and Church Streets.- From the 16 St BART Station at 16th and Mission Streets: Walk south from 16th Street to 18th Street and turn right. Proceed about 0.4 miles to Church Street.
- From the 14R Bus Stop at 20th and Mission Streets: Walk north to 18th Street, turn left and walk about 0.4 miles to Church Street.
- From the J Bus Stop at 18th and Church Street: The stop is right by the meeting spot.
From Spark Social to BART: you could either take the 22 Bus from 18th and Minnesota Streets (3 blocks south of Spark Social) to the 16th Street BART Station, or take the T Bus from 3rd Street and Mission Rock (2 blocks northwest of Spark Social) to the Powell Street BART Station.
