Richmond Marina Bay Trail Hike & Visitor Ctr: 5.5 miles
Details
We will be doing a hike on a portion of the Marina Bay Trail in the town of Richmond in East Bay. The route will offer scenic views of San Francisco Bay, the Richmond Marina and some historical structures along the way. We also plan to stop at the Rosie the Riveter Visitor Center which contains exhibits about the invaluable civilian contributions to WWII efforts, as well as some history of Richmond during that time.
We meet at 11:15 am at the Ferry Building/GATE F to take the 11:45 am San Francisco Bay Ferry to Richmond. Transportation time to Richmond is 35 minutes. We will return on the 4:15 pm ferry, arriving at the Ferry Building at 4:50 pm.
Bring water and snacks. Dress for the weather.

Elevation Gain: 23 feet.
Hiking Time: 2.5 hours plus stops. We will allocate time to see the Rosie the Riveter Visitor Center.
Restrooms: On Ferry (mile 0.0), Shimada Friendship Park (mile 2.5), Lucretia Edwards Park (mile 5.0).
Directions
The meeting spot is GATE F at the Ferry Building. To get to the Ferry Building from The Embarcadero BART Station, walk east one block. The 14 Bus and N Bus also stop close by. Use a Clipper card for payment as you enter the gate to the Ferry. The cost will be $4.90 each way. Also remember to, TAP OFF with your Clipper card when we get to Richmond.
Paid parking available at Four Embarcadero Center.
