San Francisco Lipstick Lesbians

Eyeliner, drawn. Mascara, done. & Lastly, Lipstick added. The San Francisco Lipstick Lesbians meet-up is for the Bay Area lipstick lesbian, femme women, "chapstick" lesbian, bisexual women, queer women, and trans women community. This private, nonprofit meetup centers femme queer women and serves as a women-focused queer space.

Group Rules & Expectations:

• A private meetup for femme queer women, including lipstick lesbians, femme women, chapstick lesbians, bisexual women, queer women, questioning women and trans women.
• Queer Women-focused, inclusive of both single women and those in relationships (committed or open).
• Designed for friendship, networking, and dating within the queer women's community.

Membership Requirements:

• Must be 21+, femme-woman-identifying, and local (Bay Area/Northern California).
• Profile must include:
  • A clear headshot (only of you, for recognition at events).
  • Your real first name is preferred; a nickname is allowed.
• Meetup is private—only members can view photos and profiles.

Events & Attendance:

• All our events are private unless otherwise stated
• Monthly cocktail/mocktail meetups (usually on Saturdays, 6-9 PM, in SF bars).
• Some events allow women-identified guests, while others are members-only.
• Many attendees are first-timers and often come solo.
• RSVP rules:
  • You must RSVP "YES" to attend. No-shows or failure to update your RSVP may result in removal. Please be courteous and change your RSVP to "NO" if you can no longer attend.
  • After 3 no-shows, membership will be revoked.

Community Guidelines:

• No unsolicited private messages to members.
• No taking photos or snapshots of members.
• No event promotions (both personal and external).
• No public promotion of meetup events on social media.
• Zero tolerance for hate, violence, harassment, stalking, xenophobia, transphobia, biphobia, and/or drama or toxicity.
• Membership can be revoked at the organizer’s discretion.

Additional Notes:

• Some events allow a woman-identified guest, but if space is limited, we will note any restrictions in the event details. Please be courteous and follow the instructions provided in the event postings.
• Most events are free, but some may have a door fee, which will always be noted in the event postings.
• Inactive members may be removed by Meetup’s system. Members should check the platform periodically to stay active.
