- Git Integration and Azure DevOps for Power BILink visible for attendees
Learn how to apply application development lifecycle to BI development with Power BI, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Power BI Deployment Pipelines enable you to manually deploy BI solutions across different stages of the CI/CD lifecycle. However, by integrating Git with Power workspaces and Azure DevOps, you can also achieve version control, automated deployment, and quality assurance for your Power BI projects. Data Engineer Akshata Revankar will show how to use these tools to implement application lifecycle management (ALM) for your enterprise BI environments.
This presentation will include minimal slides and maximum demo!
Akshata will use Power BI service workspace and integrate it with Azure Devops using Git Integration feature, then use Power BI Deployment Pipelines and Azure Devops to create a continuous deployment flow.
This presentation is especially geared toward BI developers and analysts who want to adopt ALM practices for their Power BI solutions.
You will learn how to:
- Set up Azure DevOps and Power BI workspace integration using git
- Create a repository for Power BI files in Azure Devops
- Build and run a release pipeline in Azure Devops
- Automate code deployment from dev to test and test to production
