Garden at the Free Farm

The Free Farm is part of a network of community gardens around San Francisco. All the produce they grow is given away for free to anyone who wants it. The Free Farm seeks to provide people with local veggies and also empower people to learn how to grow their own.

Every Saturday volunteers come together to maintain the garden. Tasks include watering, harvesting, pruning, carpentry and more. It's a pretty awesome place with some very friendly people. To top it off, there is free lunch (served at 12pm)!

The farm is near Jefferson Square park in the Western Addition, at Gough and Eddy.
