Abstract: AI agents, capable of autonomous decision-making and multi-step reasoning, are redefining how businesses automate operations, optimize decisions, and interact with data. But building truly intelligent agents requires more than prompt engineering and LLMs. They need a multi-model data platform that scales and is able to support complex agentic workflows. In this session, we will cover the architecture and technical details to show you how to build sample autonomous agentic apps for various industry verticals.

Meetup Talk#2: What's your Agent's GPA? A Framework for Evaluating AI Agent Reliability

Abstract: Agents often fail in ways you can’t see. Was the goal achieved efficiently? Did the plan make sense? Were the right tools used? These hidden failures silently rack up compute costs, spike latency, and cause brittle behavior that collapses in production. Traditional evals won’t flag any of it because they only check the output, not the decisions that produced it. This session introduces the Agent GPA (Goal-Plan-Action) framework in the open source TruLens library, where benchmark results achieved 95% of agent errors detected and 86% error localization (nearly 2x better than standard methods). You’ll learn how to inspect an agent’s reasoning steps, detect issues like hallucinations, bad tool calls, and missed actions, and leave knowing how to make your agent truly production-ready.
