Pickup Soccer in the Marina

This is a pickup soccer game Sunday at 10:00 AM at the grass Hamilton Recreation Center field, 1900 Geary Blvd., SF. The pitch is at the northwest corner of Geary and Steiner streets.

There is always a game every Sunday even if you see only 1 RSVP on the list. There are "regular offline" players who are not part of this online meetup group. For any given Sunday we can add 10 to 20 "regular offline players" to the RSVP list.

All skill levels are welcome! Everybody who is friendly and has a good attitude, is welcome to come out and play. All you need to do is show up and play in a good manner. However, we're not liable for any injury or harm that may occur (players with pre-existing injuries are not permitted).

A $5 donation to the group would be appreciated at the pickup location. This is not a mandatory fee. The collected money will be used primarily towards maintaining this site and field permit fees. Again, this is not mandatory.

We usually do 'Color Shirts vs. White Shirts,' so bringing both will be great. Please do not bring any gray shirts. Please note that while this is not a regulation field, we do take corner kicks. We do not have offsides or goalies. Play will be preceded by 15 minutes of warm up.

All throw-ins are made with hands. If one team scores 6 more goals than the other, then the game shall be ended and a new one with different players assembled. No profanity. Please remove watches, necklaces, etc. There will be a beer after at the nearby Japantown mall.

Very important: We want to keep it safe for everyone, so rough plays and/or slide tackles are NOT allowed. Legitimate shoulder-to-shoulder contact is okay. See you all on the pitch!
