Exploring the Great Mother Archetype: Jungian-Inspired Circle at Baker Beach

Details
### Event Description
Join us for the very first gathering of the San Francisco Psychology Wellness Group at Baker Beach! This is the first of an 8-part Tuesday evening series running through October and November. Each week we’ll explore a different aspect of the mother wound through Jungian-inspired lenses.
This inaugural gathering will focus on the Great Mother Archetype — a powerful symbol of both creation and destruction, nurturing and devouring, protection and control. This is an opportunity to reflect on how this archetype lives within our psyche, our families, and our collective imagination.
The group structure will include:
✨ A short psychoeducation lecture to introduce concepts
✨ Guided imagery for inner reflection
✨ Sharing circles in small groups for connection and insight
Please bring:
📝 A journal and pen
🧣 A blanket to sit on (or wrap around you)
🥤 Something non-alcoholic to drink
This group is for people who are curious about exploring their own mother wound or contributing to the conceptualization of the archetypal view of the mother wound. No prior background is required — just openness and curiosity.
The full cost of attendance is $65, however if you are unemployed or lower income - use the promocode SLIDINGSCALE at checkout to receive a $40 discount.
