How to Become a Genius: A Journey Into Human Potential
"Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing that it is incapable."
This commonly shared metaphor reminds us that our potential cannot be measured through a single standard. Genius is not simply about IQ, academic achievement, or intellectual ability. Every person carries a unique form of intelligence, creativity, and potential that expresses itself differently.
In this group, we explore the idea that genius is not something we create, but something we reconnect with. It is the natural creative force that exists within us, connected to our inner child: the part of ourselves that is curious, imaginative, authentic, and capable of seeing possibilities beyond limitations.
However, accessing this inner genius requires self-awareness. Throughout life, we accumulate layers of conditioning, fears, expectations, traumas, and identities that can disconnect us from our authentic nature. Through self-exploration, reflection, and inner work, we begin removing these layers and creating the space necessary to reconnect with ourselves and allow our creativity and wisdom to naturally emerge.
This group is an invitation to explore the human experience through psychology, philosophy, spirituality, symbolism, and the wisdom traditions of different cultures. We will explore different perspectives and practices that can help us understand ourselves, our relationships, and our connection with life.
Through dialogue and reflection, we will explore themes such as:
• Jungian psychology and individuation — understanding the shadow, integrating different parts of ourselves, and becoming more whole.
• Hermetic philosophy and the alchemy of the soul — exploring transformation, symbolism, and the inner process of change.
• Buddhist philosophy and meditation — cultivating awareness, presence, non-attachment, and freedom from unconscious patterns.
• White Tantra and conscious embodiment — exploring the relationship between body, energy, sensuality, and awareness.
• Yoga and body awareness — reconnecting with the wisdom of the body and learning to listen beyond the mind.
• Sufism and the wisdom of the heart — exploring love, devotion, compassion, and connection beyond the ego.
• Stoic philosophy — developing discipline, emotional mastery, and conscious action.
• Psychology, philosophy, mythology, and symbolism — exploring the deeper meanings behind human experiences and the stories we create about ourselves.
The purpose of this group is not to convince anyone of a specific belief system or create a single answer. Different traditions offer different lenses through which we can explore reality and ourselves.
The foundation of this group is the maieutic approach: the art of bringing knowledge and understanding to birth through meaningful dialogue. We are not here to win arguments, defend identities, or prove ourselves right. We are here to question, reflect, and discover.
Every perspective is welcome when it is expressed with openness, reasoning, and respect. We value curiosity, critical thinking, and the willingness to examine our own beliefs.
This is a space where we can step away from distractions, put away our phones, and allow ourselves to be present with others in authentic conversation.
Group Principles:
• We explore ideas instead of trying to prove ourselves right.
• We respect different perspectives and life experiences.
• Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not.
• We focus on understanding before responding.
• We support questions, reflection, and honest self-exploration.
• We do not seek followers or try to convert anyone. We simply share, explore, and plant seeds of awareness.
The intention is to create a safe space where people can bring their authentic selves, explore deeper questions, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom.
This is an invitation to explore what it means to live a more conscious, authentic, and integrated life.
