What we’re about
Welcome to the San Francisco Solidworks User Group (SFSWUG) - a vibrant community where SOLIDWORKS enthusiasts converge to share knowledge, insights, and experiences. Our mission aligns with the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network (SWUGN): to empower users of SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE products through collaboration, learning, and teaching. Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to the SOLIDWORKS world, SFSWUG provides a platform to connect, learn, and grow. Join us for technical deep-dives, networking opportunities, and a chance to explore the real-world applications of SOLIDWORKS in a friendly, engaging environment.

Join us on July 16th at 3 PM for the next San Francisco Solidworks User Group (SFSWUG) meeting — hosted at Bucket Robotics!
We’re excited to have Matt, founder of Bucket Robotics, open up their space and showcase the rugged mobile robotics systems they’re building. Their product is a perfect fit for our group of designers, engineers, and builders working at the intersection of software and hardware.
This meetup is also a stop on the IRONSWUG Tour — a cross-country ride where a group of Solidworks users are traveling by motorcycle and visiting SWUG chapters throughout the western U.S. Learn more about their adventure at ironswug.com. Many of the Bucket Robotics folks are also motorcycle enthusiasts themselves, so it’s a perfect match!
We’ll tour the Bucket Robotics facility, dive into product and engineering conversations, and hang out with a great group of folks who build cool stuff. As always, this event is free to attend and open to anyone interested in product design, mechanical engineering, prototyping, CAD, or Solidworks.
