SUMMARY:
Have you ever sat in a negotiation and thought that it could have gone better? That perhaps if you had done something differently the outcome could have been different?
Contract negotiation is an unavoidable part of founding and running a startup. From equity agreements, intellectual property licensing, and employment contracts -- they are a ubiquitous part of running any business. But don’t fret, negotiation is a skill and can be improved!
Join us for a participatory workshop led by startup attorneys Nada Rastad of SF Startup Law and Korey Anvaripour of Goodwin Procter, who will share their insights and facilitate a simulated negotiation.
Participants can expect to leave the workshop with an actionable set of tools that they can take with them and use in their everyday negotiations at startups and beyond.
Light refreshments will be served, including a vegetarian option.
SCHEDULE:
6:30 PM - Doors Open / Networking
