Play Music on the Porch Day 2025 -- IN-PERSON EVENT

Saturday August 30 is Play Music on the Porch Day Worldwide 2025 (always the last Saturday in August). Many of us don't have a porch, so let's gather at one of our favorite outdoor venues, the Golden Gate Pavilion at Blue Heron (formerly Stow) Lake, and play music there!

Please note that we don't reserve the Golden Gate Pavilion, and while it's usually available when we schedule a jam there, it may occasionally be in use, in which case we'll have to look for another place to play. It often gets cold or windy in the afternoon in the park, so please dress accordingly.

We'll be playing from the Daily Ukulele books (aka the Yellow and Blue books). There is a digital version of The Daily Ukulele and The Daily Ukulele - Leap Year Edition at Dropbox. Here are the links.

As we do at our montly in-person meetups, we'll go around the circle, and anyone who would like to lead a song may do so. If you like, you can post here in the comments what song you'd like to lead when it's your turn so that those so inclined can practice in advance. You're free to pass when it's your turn, or pick a song and ask someone else to lead it, but the more voices we hear, the better!

Please note that there is NO Zoom/online component for this meetup.
