Exploring Tennessee Valley and the Marin Headlands. Our First “outside’ SF adven

Details
Join the San Francisco Urban Explorers for our very first walking adventure beyond the city limits as we head to the breathtaking beauty of Tennessee Valley in the Marin Headlands!
This scenic 3.4-mile roundtrip trail (I may include a longer option) offers a gentle, well-maintained path through rolling hills, wildflowers, and coastal scrub—leading to a dramatic beach cove that feels a world away from the city bustle. We’ll take our time to soak in the views, share stories, and enjoy the serenity of nature just a short drive north of San Francisco.
🚗 Carpool Option:
Let us know if you’d like to carpool or can offer a ride—we’re happy to help coordinate! This is a collective effort so please help make this a successful endeavor. I can maybe squeeze 4 into my very small car :). Who else??
Whether you’re a longtime city explorer or new to the group, this is a perfect opportunity to stretch our legs, connect with kindred spirits, and launch a new chapter of exploration beyond the city’s edge.
Bring: Water, layers, comfy walking shoes, and a snack or light picnic if you’d like to linger at the beach. Please bring ample amounts as there will not be any places to refill or get food. And as I always emphasize, it is essential that you remain fully aware of and accountable for your own health and well-being. By choosing to participate in this walk, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your personal welfare.
Let’s walk into the wild together—see you on the trail!
