Battle on the Beach XX - Quads

Battle on the Beach XX, Sand Quads Volleyball Tournament

Date: Saturday, October 21, 2023
Time: 9:00 (to help with set up) - 3:00 (most teams finish by 2:00).

Format: Two open divisions - Upper and Lower (no gender requirements)
Pool play and then elimination bracket. First serve around 9:45.

Cost: Early bird discount - $15/player, $60/team
If registering after Thursday, September 28 - $30/player, $120/team

Location: Ocean Beach, San Francisco, Beach access ramp #15
1001 Great Highway (across from the Dutch windmill and Beach Chalet)
Parking at the beach, bathrooms close by

Game format:
Pool play for top two seeds then teams placed in elimination bracket
Open hand receiving acceptable (yes, it’s legal, just gotta be clean)
Rally scoring, switch at 7, play to 21
No open hand tipping (redirecting ball after contact)
Call your own violations, replay discrepancies

Registration not confirmed until payment is received.
