Much of what NorCal has to offer up to motorcyclists can be experienced upon this single route. From eight lane freeways to long sweeping turns to goat road surfaces to coastal black ribbon bliss, this ride has all of it in spades. In fact, the challenging nature of this route will find you thankful to see the freeway again.
●●●CAUTION●●●
SEASONAL ROAD OBSTRUCTIONS.
The Stewarts Point Rd segment of this route is not well maintained. Therefore, winter conditions can present new obstacles such as landslides on a daily basis.
This route contains roads considered to be at an advanced riding level in the summertime. Please stay within your abilities & ride your own ride.
PLEASE READ
It is unlawful for any vehicle to roll through a STOP sign. However, if the last bike in the group comes to a complete stop before the lead rider continues forward, the whole group may proceed through the stop together.
PLEASE ARRIVE WITH
A.) The appropriate riding gear, I.E. dress in layers, boots, textiles , or leather
B.) A well maintained motorcycle
C.) A full tank of gas.
OPTIONAL
1.) Either a AAA Premiere level emergency roadside membership or another motorcycle roadside recovery program as breakdowns can & do occur.
2.) A tire plugging kit along with tools specific to your bike.
3.) Water for hydration, granola bars and jerky for energy boosts between refreshment stops.
