What we’re about
Calling all cat lovers! Do you find cats irresistible? Do you own one, want to own one, or just want to be around one? Do you want to share your love of cats with other like-minded people in San Jose? Join us! We have regular hours when guests can visit our adorable adoptable cats (note: reservations are required and are $15 per person). During other special events, we might share stories, photos and behavior tips. Other special events might include a workshop to make catnip toys, or a talk by a cat behaviorist.
Events will take place at The Dancing Cat, San Jose's only adoption lounge for adult cats. Visitors are invited to meet and mingle with adorable adoptable cats in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Sweet snacks and soft drinks for sale, wi-fi and catnip are on the house!
If you'd like to simply hang out with adorable adoptable cats, you're welcome to come during our regular public hours from Thursday though Sunday from noon to around 6pm. We ask for a donation of $15 to come in, but this is waived in cases of hardship. We want everyone to enjoy being with our cats.
There is more information on our website here: www.thedancingcat.org/reservations
We hope you'll stop by to see what The Dancing Cat is all about, or join us at one of our fun events.

Sunday October 27th | 10:00AM - 12:00PM
When you take a look around your neighborhood, do you notice cats in your area that don’t seem to have a home? Have you found a litter of kittens and wondered whom to call? With kitten season approaching, this may be more common than you might think.
DO YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION?! Join community cat experts, Bay Area Cats, for a free workshop introducing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), feral cat management practices, local resources for feral cat spay/neuter, and proper use of humane traps. This workshop will offer the knowledge and skills needed to help feral kittens and stray cats in your community.
This workshop is free; donations during the event are always appreciated. All ages welcome!
