We hope you can join the San Mateo County Pride Center and CORA on Friday, August 21 for a screening of “Kinky Boots”! Let’s close out the summer with this fun classic.
Join us at CORA San Mateo in the Carelle Room on Friday, August 21st! This event is free and open to the public. Snacks will be provided. Doors open at 6pm and the movie will start at 6:30 pm.
About the Film:
Charles Price may have grown up with his father in the family shoe business in Northampton, central England, but he never thought that he would take his father's place. Charles has a chance encounter with the flamboyant drag queen cabaret singer Lola and everything changes.

CORA San Mateo is located at 2205 Palm Ave in San Mateo.

Accessibility information about CORA:

  • CORA is mask-friendly but masks are not currently required in the office.
  • Our offices are located off Palm Ave between 24th and 25th. Building 2205 is where the event will be held, 2211 is the main lobby where folks can sign in.
  • There is a shared parking lot with Horizons Services. Please consider carpooling. The parking lot is located behind the building with an entrance between buildings 2205 and 2211. Additional street parking is also available.
  • Both buildings are wheelchair accessible.
  • The event space has a single stall gender neutral restroom, and single stall women’s restroom. Additional restrooms are available in the main lobby as well.
  • This is currently not a scent-free/fragrance-free space.
  • This San Mateo County Pride Center and CORA event is a weapon and substance free Sober space.
