Out and About: GLBT Historical Museum Tour

Join the San Mateo County Pride Center as we explore our local history with our Out & About events.
This is part of a series of community gatherings at locally owned or friendly LGBTQ+ businesses. This month, we will meet at GLBT Historical Society Museum for a self-guided group tour to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month.
Join us at 11 am on Saturday, October 3rd. Cost is $5 per person, but no registered community member will be turned away for lack of funds.
While the majority of the GLBTHS museum’s content is family-friendly and appropriate for all ages, the museum does contain some sexually explicit material in a few exhibits. The “South of Market: San Francisco’s Leather Scene” exhibit in the rear left corner of the main gallery displays some sexually explicit graphic posters as well as video footage from leather and kink events such as Dore Alley and Folsom Street Fair.
