LGBTQ+ Mental Health and Case Management Drop-in Support Hours

Are you struggling to find what you need? Have you felt down, lonely, or upset? Do you need someone to talk to about mental health? Or need support with navigating housing, food, health insurance, job search, or gender-affirming care?

Come visit us in-person for our LGBTQ+ Affirming Drop-in Hours! (Hosted at various community partner locations throughout San Mateo County)

Meet directly with LGBTQ affirming mental health and case management professionals to get connected with the resources and support you need - including immediate mental health support.

We will also have gender-affirming garments available for those in need. These include chest binders, rolls of trans tape, tucking briefs, and more.

We know how costly and challenging it can be to find affirming providers. Our drop-in hours aim to provide a low barrier “open door” and safe space for LGBTQ+ community members and their loved ones to get the help they need to best meet their needs.

Our first session will take place on Friday, October 23 from 1:00-5:00pm at Samaritan House, 2nd Floor (4031 Pacific Blvd, San Mateo, CA 94403). Please scroll down for important information about directions to Samaritan House.

Directions:
Samaritan House is located at 4031 Pacific Blvd, San Mateo, CA 94403. We offer designated client parking within our facility. Depending on your direction of approach, you will turn into our building via 42nd Avenue. On the left side, there is a private business, and on the right side, limited Samaritan House parking is available. Continue driving straight to enter our parking lot; please use the "client parking" designated area. Please be advised that our food program operates from our parking lot, which may result in wait times or lines before parking is available. Alternatively, you may park in the surrounding community, but we ask that you adhere to local parking regulations.
