What we’re about
Come as you are and lift your voice in community! This is a welcoming space for anyone who loves to sing, whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or someone who only sings in the shower. Our song circle is about heart-centered connection through simple, soulful songs—often call-and-response, easy-to-learn, and rooted in themes of nature, healing, and belonging. No experience or sheet music needed—just your willingness to sing and listen.
Our gatherings are a mix of vocal warm-ups, group singing, and sharing of songs from various traditions, with a focus on presence and co-creation. I started this group to build a nurturing community where we can breathe, sing, and remember our voices together. If you’re looking for a grounded and nourishing way to connect with others, come join us. You’re welcome to bring a friend or just yourself.
See you soon!

Come gather in community for a heart-centered song circle!
We’ll begin with gentle grounding practices and vocal warm-ups to help us land in our bodies and open our voices. From there, we’ll sing simple, soulful songs that are easy to learn and shared in the oral tradition—no musical experience needed, just your presence and willingness to explore your voice.
Whether you love to sing or simply enjoy being immersed in the shared energy of communal song, you are warmly welcome. These songs are medicine—offering joy, connection, and remembrance. Singing together helps us reconnect with something deep and timeless. We need one another to inspire, uplift, and remember what’s possible when we raise our voices together.
We’re also delighted to be joined by Michael Artesona, who will share a song or two from his heart. His presence and music bring a special warmth to the space, and we’re grateful to welcome him into the circle.
This month’s circle will be held outdoors in a stone courtyard at a private residence in San Mateo, CA. The exact address will be emailed to all registered attendees prior to the event. Register here: Eventbrite link
We’ll have a long wooden bench and some chairs available, but if you have a comfortable outdoor chair, you’re welcome to bring it along.
There will be shade covering most of the courtyard, though some areas may be sunny depending on the time of day. Please dress in comfortable outdoor layers, and bring a hat, water bottle, and sunscreen if you’d like a little extra protection.
Come as you are. Let’s sing, soften, and strengthen in community.
