We are The original "San Diego Baby Boomers" Meetup Group established in 2008 and are a well-established private group that is open to ages 50 and above. Having enjoyed 4,196 past events over the last 15 years, we look forward to continued success as one of the original meetup groups in San Diego!
Join us and make some amazing new friends and see them again at events! We share a variety of gatherings in San Diego, including Pacific & Mission Beach, Point Loma, La Jolla, Bay Park, Old Town, Clairemont, Downtown, Mission Valley, and along Highway 8. Some of our activities include bonfires, boating, camping, private dance parties with live music, walks, outdoor concerts, picnics at our beautiful coast and bayside, wine tasting, urban hikes, potlucks, cultural events, go-cart racing, hiking, happy hours, game nights, limo tours, movies and volunteering in our beautiful community. Our events typically range in attendance of 2 to 180 members, depending on the activity. Some events are are for our single members, and others for couples and singles. We are not a dating sight.
Guidelines for joining
- In order to be a member you must have a recognizable face photo of YOU, no dark lenses please.
- Reside in San Diego County
- For privacy please use your first name and include the initial(s) of your last name if your name is common.
Remaining a member
If you RSVP and do not show up for that event you are considered a "no show" and you will be removed from our group without notification.
If you show up for an event and have not RSVP'd, you will be removed as a member. Crashers are not welcomed unless it is an official "Crashers Only" event.
No recruiting or soliciting of members for any reason, this includes Event hosts, Assistant Organizers, and Organizers from other Meetup groups. When attending my group's events, you are there as a Boomer member only so introductions representing another group or chatting about their upcoming events. We don't promote personal business ventures, politics, or religion, nor are we a dating service. If you violate these rules, you will be removed at any time and without notice.
