End to end TypeScript mono-repo setup with TRPC and React

Typescript is rapidly growing in popularity, and so are tools that help make your code type-safe. In this presentation, Stasi will cover the basics of typescript, how to set up a mono-repo, building & consuming fully typesafe APIs easily using TRPC, and how to build an end-to-end type-safe React app.

Often times with user actions (like clicking a button), we fetch and wait for the results. Sometimes we don't need to. The Optimistic UI pattern challenges the traditional fetch-and-wait approach and instead optimistically updates the UI immediately, assuming success, and only reverts if necessary.
