Join us for a 6 to 7 mile on a mostly shaded hike in Joaquin Miller and Redwood Regional Parks in the Oakland hills. We hike at a comfortable pace around 20 to 22 minute miles, with occasional stops to regroup. Elevation is about 1000 feet. We start at the Ranger station on Sanborn Rd in Joaquin Miller Park, and take Palo Colorados trail before crossing over to Redwood Park, continuing to Dunn and Westridge to Redwood Bowl, where we have lunch, then to Graham returning to Joaquin Miller. Bring lunch, plenty of water and good footwear.

From Hwy 13 , exit at Joaquin Miller Rd and continue about 1 mile until you see the sign for Woodminster Amphitheater on the left at Sanborn Dr, drive through to the first parking lot on the left, next to the Park Ranger building, if full continue to the next parking lot on the left.
