McCosker Ranch Hike (Sierra Singles)

Come join us as we hike to McCosker Ranch which is part of Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve. After three years of restoration, including daylighting 3,000 linear feet of previously culverted creek, it is now reopened to the public. This hike starts at Redwood Park and will go through Huckleberry Botanic Regional Preserve. This hike is about eight miles with an elevation gain of about 1500 feet.

Level: Moderate(2B)

Cost: none

Signup Instructions: This is a leisurely paced hike. If you are looking for a fast-paced hike this hike is not for you.

Bring: Water, lunch and some snacks to share with the group.

Signup Restrictions: Dogs are not allowed on this hike.

Additional Directions: Meet at Redwood Park's Skyline Gate Parking lot at 8500 Skyline Blvd. in Oakland at noon.

Cancellation Policy: Any rain cancels.
